Policies

 

Registration. To register for a MORE library card you must present current photo identification, such as a driver’s license, student ID or other official photo ID. If your photo ID does not contain your current address, a non-personal piece of mail with your current address along with the photo ID is acceptable.

Card Renewal. A library card has an expiration date of one year. Cards can be renewed at the time of checkout.

Lost or Forgotten Cards. Please notify the library as soon as possible if your card is lost. A replacement card can be issued at a cost of $1. Patrons are expected to present their library card when they are checking out materials.

Reserves. Materials can be reserved by calling the library or by using the MORE online card catalog. You will be notified when the item arrives and it will remain on the hold shelf for up to 7 days.

Interlibrary Loan. If an item is not available on the MORE online catalog, interlibrary loan through WISCAT is available. Interlibrary loans are free of charge unless an item is damaged or lost.

Reference Materials. The library has a variety of reference materials for use in the library only.

Circulation Loan schedule:

  • Movies–7 days
  • Magazines–7 days
  • All other circulating material–21 days

Interlibrary Loan Materials

  • Movies–14 days
  • All other circulating material–21 days

Renewal of Materials. Materials may be renewed twice in sequence if no other customer has placed a reserve/hold on that item. Renewal of interlibrary loan materials is at the discretion of the lender. Renewals can be made

Overdue Charges.

  • This library is proud to be fine-free. Please return materials promptly.
  • Replacement charges will be billed on materials past due more than 28 days.

Computer/Internet Access. We have three public access computers for Internet use or word processing. Copies printed from the computer cost 10 cents each. We also provide Wi-Fi access.

Computer Policies. You must have your library card with you and less than $10.00 in fines on your library card to use a public access computer.
* Time Allotment: There is a 60 minute time limit on these computers. If no one is waiting to use a computer, you can continue to use the computer for up to one additional hour.

Gift Policy. Donated materials may be accepted on a case-by-case basis due to lack of storage space and limited staff. Materials must be in very good condition and needed for the collection as determined by the library director. Please contact the library director">.
